Nach meiner Abreise von Chescam bin ich dann nach Lukla gewandert. Wieder abseits der Touristenwege, wo es nicht immer einfach ist zu laufen. Als wir dann nach einem Tag in die "Touristenautobahn" einbogen, staunte ich nicht schlecht. Innert einem Jahr haben die Einheimischen ein sehr schöner Weg gemacht. Vorher war dieser von den vielen Maultieren und Eseln sehr ausgelaufen.
Mit grosser Freude erreichte ich dann Lukla. Es ist immer wieder schön dahin zurück zu kommen. Die Familie von Pasang empfing mich fröhlich. 5 Tage durfte ich bei ihnen zu Hause wohnen. Pasang hatte schon bald eine Trekkingtour vor sich. Ich durfte zusammen mit seiner Frau und seinem Sohn Lukla geniessen

After my departure from Chescam I then hiked to Lukla. Again off the beaten track, where it is not always easy to walk. When we turned into the "tourist highway" after a day, I was amazed. Within a year, the locals have made a very nice way. Before this one had run out very much from the many mules and donkeys.
With great pleasure I reached Lukla. It's always nice to come back here. The family of Pasang received me cheerfully. For 5 days I was allowed to live with them at home. Pasang soon had a trekking tour ahead of him. I was allowed to enjoy together with his wife and son Lukla
Here are some impressions:
Dann ging meine Reise wieder weiter zurück nach Kathmandu. Ich freute mich nach 5 Tagen Lukla, endlich wieder ein bisschen zu laufen. So lief ich los in Richtung Phablu, wo ich dann mit dem Jeep zurück nach Kathmandu fuhr. Viele Touristen fliegen von Lukla zurück. Klar es geht nur 30 Minuten bis dahin. Man verpasst aber eine unglaublich schöne Landschaft und wunderbare Menschen. Ich habe diesen Weg zurück, wenn es auch immer rauf und runter ging, sehr genossen. Wegen dem Rauf und Runter, ich sage mir immer: hier in Nepal läuft man nur Runter, dass man baldmöglichst wieder Hoch laufen kann... :)
Als ich dann nach 2 Tagen in Phablu ankam, musste ich mir nicht nur eine Lodge suchen, sondern auch einen Jeep buchen. So dachte ich mir, zuerst die Sachen abladen in der Lodge, dann Jeep. Schon bald hatte ich eine schöne gefunden. Und lustigerweise genau die Gleiche vom letzten Jahr. Dies per Zufall. Und der Gastgeber erkannte mich sogar. Das sind eben genau die Begegnungen die ich meine. Und das findet man nicht in einem 30-minütigen Flug.... Das schöne war auch, dass der Gastgeber dann sofort für mich den Jeep gebucht hatte, so musste ich mich um nichts kümmern. Nur noch am nächsten morgen um 05:00 Uhr einsteigen. Das machte ich dann auch. Im Jeep waren ausser mich noch 8 andere. Genau nach Vorschrift, sassen nur 9 Personen im Jeep. Dann ging die Fahrt los. Vom letzten Jahr hatte ich die Fahrt als eher unschön als schön im Kopf. Dann wieder ein Erstaunen. In nur einem Jahr wurde die Strasse mit 80% planiert. Wow!! Ich bin sehr begeistert. So werden wir sicher schneller am Ziel sein. Aber oha. Ich hatte immer von anderen gehört, dass sie eine Panne hatten. Jaja, dachte ich mir, dass passiert mir sicher nicht. Falsch gedacht. Etwa in der Hälfte der Fahrt auf einer Brücke machte es auf einmal "Rums". Das Auto war manövrierunfähig. So stiegen wir alle aus. Hinter uns natürlich eine grosse Kolonne. Irgend so ein Autoteil ist abgefallen. Keine Ahnung was, kenne mich nicht aus. So mussten wir zuerst mal das Auto von der Brücke schieben. Dann zu unserem Glück, war in unmittelbarer Nähe eine Garage. So schoben wir also das Auto auf die andere Seite der Brücke zur Garage und warteten. Nach 2 Stunden war der Wagen geflickt. Was für ein Glück, dass sie das kaputte Teil da hatten. So fuhren wir weiter ohne weitere Panne. In Kathmandu sind wir dann spät angekommen. So spät, dass der Verkehr extrem war. Aber wie heisst es so schön, alles hat ein Ende und wir sind glücklich nach 13 Stunden aus dem Jeep wieder ausgestiegen.

Then my journey went back to Kathmandu. I was happy after 5 days Lukla to finally walk a bit again. So I started in the direction of Phablu, where I drove back to Kathmandu by jeep. Many tourists fly back from Lukla. Sure it is only 30 minutes until then. But you miss an incredibly beautiful landscape and wonderful people. I have come this way back, although it was always up and down, very much enjoyed. Because of the up and down, I keep telling myself: here in Nepal you just walk down, that you can walk up again as soon as possible ... :)
When I arrived after 2 days in Phablu, I not only had to look for a lodge, but also book a jeep. So I thought, first unload the stuff in the lodge, then Jeep. I soon found a nice one. And funny enough the same from last year. This by accident. And the host even recognized me. These are just the encounters I mean. And you can not find that in a 30-minute flight .... The nice thing was that the host had then immediately booked the jeep for me, so I had to worry about anything. Only get on the next morning at 05:00 clock. I did that too. In the jeep there were 8 others besides me. Exactly according to regulations, sat only 9 people in the jeep. Then the ride started. From last year I had the trip as rather unpleasant than nice in the head. Then again an astonishment. In just one year, the road was in tarred at 80%. Wow!! I am very excited. So we will certainly be faster at the finish. But oha. I had always heard from others that they had a breakdown. Yeah, I thought, that does not happen to me. Wrong thought. In about half of the ride on a bridge, it suddenly made "rums." The car was unable to maneuver. So we all got out. Behind us, of course, a big column. Any such car part has fallen off. No idea what, do not know me. So we first had to push the car off the bridge. Then luckily, there was a garage in the immediate vicinity. So we pushed the car to the other side of the bridge to the garage and waited. After 2 hours the car was mended. Luckily they had the broken part there. So we drove on without further breakdown. In Kathmandu we arrived late. So late that the traffic was extreme. But as the saying goes, there's an end to everything and we got off the jeep happily after 13 hours.
Here are some impressions:
Nun bin ich also zurück im verrückten Kathmandu. Im Moment ist die Luft hier sehr schlecht. Das schöne ist, dass ich im Moment hier viele Leute treffen konnte. Doch werde ich in bald für ein paar Tage nach Phokara gehen. Dies liegt an einem See, und die Luft ist viel besser.
Sobald der Bruder von Pasang aus Lukla zurück ist, werde ich mit ihm noch ein paar Sachen für unsere Projekte in Kathmandu erledigen. Er kennt sich gut aus, und hat gute Beziehungen. Pasang ist zur Zeit sehr mit Trekkings und seiner Familie beschäftigt, dass er nicht nach Kathmandu kommen wird.
Ich selber werde einen Monat früher als geplant zurück reisen. Dies aus dem Grund, dass ich alles schneller erledigen konnte als angenommen.
Now I'm back in crazy Kathmandu. At the moment the air is very bad here. The nice thing is that I could meet a lot of people here at the moment. But I will go to Phokara for a few days soon. This is located at a lake, and the air is much better.
As soon as the brother of Pasang from Lukla is back, I will do a few things with him for our projects here in Kathmandu. He knows his way around and has good relationships. Pasang is currently busy with trekking and his family, so he will not come to Kathmandu.
I myself will travel back one month earlier than planned. This for the reason that I could do everything faster than expected.
